Congratulations to Nancy and Michael on their new business venture the Management Rights at The Cove Coomera. It was a long hard slog with many ups and downs due to unforeseen circumstances encountered during the contract process. The main issues encountered were Legal and financial however both Nancy and Michael weathered the storm and now are the proud owners of one of the best Management Rights businesses in the area. Geoff Ellis and MR Sales would like to congratulations Erich and Stephanie Weber and Mark Moss and Yahong Tang on acquiring the management and letting rights to Sea Change Beachfront Apartments at Trinity Beach. All four of them are from Sydney although Mark and Yahong arrived in Far North Queensland a couple of years ago when they purchased another management rights business. Erich and Stephanie are new to management rights however bring strong management skills and experience in customer driven business with them to manage what is arguably the best beachfront resort in the region. We wish them all the best with their new business venture.
Allowing quality time with the family was the most important prerequisite for Reegan and Darryl when looking to buy a business, and deciding to buy the management and letting rights to Castleglen Chateau with the guidance of Lyn Pearsall of MR Sales has made this a reality for them.
No long commutes or having to sit in traffic to and from work for either of them. Shops, schools, playing fields and the local library are at their doorstep and there is the bonus of having a swimming pool and tennis court within the complex. Being 10 minutes from Burleigh Beach impressed this adventurous couple who class extreme sports as a hobby – this was truly the perfect lifestyle business for them.
Since taking over the management rights in September, Nixon, Nyla, Reegan and Darryl have already undertaken a big refurbishment of their townhouse in Castleglen Chateau and are all settled in and thoroughly enjoying their new life and being part of the management rights industry.

MR Sales welcomes Mike and Judy Davis back to Port Macquarie. Jake Clarke first met this dynamic duo in late 2004 when they were managers of Beachcomber Resort Port Macquarie. Having sold them out in 2007 they moved to Sydney where they purchased and ran a management rights in the CBD until 2014, when they decided to retire and move back to Port Macquarie.
‘Macquarie Waters’ was listed for sale by Jake Clarke with the managers and original developer deciding to retire from the industry. This presented too good an opportunity for Mike and Judy to re-enter the industry in the destination where it all began. We welcome them back to the management rights industry in Port Macquarie.
Gus and Leanne Peterson had a busy life in Melbourne but with a growing family and a lot of out of town travelling, there was a longing to enjoy working together in a more relaxed environment. Port Douglas had been a holiday destination previously that always had appeal for them and consequently the search for a new business enterprise lured them into looking at management rights. Geoff Ellis and MR Sales had a number of very good listings in Port Douglas and Gus and Leanne were attracted to Nimrod Resort Apartments not only for it offered a good business proposition on paper but also because the resort had great family oriented facilities and accommodation. Not only did they see a resort that they would choose for their own holiday, but they knew from their own travelling experience their guests would enjoy themselves there. Being astute business people themselves they have identified areas they can ‘tweak’ and improve at the resort and they took no time at all to settle into life in Port Douglas and all that it offers.
Phil Trimble and the team at MR Sales would like to congratulate Peter Matthews on his investment in San Chelsea. “Its been a long hard road but in the end we made it”. Peter has moved down from Brisbane to take over the management of San Chelsea and with a very supportive committee intends to make his mark on the complex. The business has great potential and enormous opportunity for growth. Peter has a marketing and business background and has already “hit the ground running” with ideas on how to increase occupancy. There is no doubt in our minds that Peter will be very successful in this business and we wish him every success.
